Basics of DBMS

A database can be defined as a well structured collection of inter related data. This makes us capable to store and retrieve data efficiently. Basically a database is a structure that is directly related with a real world object. A database structure further defines this real world object. For example, suppose we are designing a database for an organization, then there should be database describing information of the employees working with it.
