Regression Equation
The relationship between the two variables can be represented by a mathematical equation and this equation is known as Regression Equation. When the relationship is linear, that is, the dependent variable either increases or decreases throughout with the change in the independent variable in a linear manner, the equation will be of the type y = a + bx,
where, y is the dependent variable
x is the independent variable
b is the regression coefficient
a represents the value of y for x = 0.
